This farm lies high up the Stellenbosch mountains with views as far as the eye can see, from Simonsberg all the way to Helderberg. A generous French inspired villa with 3 large bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms upstairs, as well as a study and artist's studio. Downstairs are 2 self-contained guest suites overlooking the pool and its terraces that lead into a woodland of trees. The middle level consists of the large entertainment, dining and kitchen areas each with its own fireplace, high ceilings and chandeliers. The kitchen and the adjacent sun room flow out onto the full length veranda overlooking the farm dam with waterlilies. For a moment you feel as though you have stepped in to a Monet painting. Then your eye sweeps beyond it to the slopes of the Stellenbosch Mountains and vine-covered foothills all the way to town of Stellenbosch itself. This farm has Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards from which wine has been produced under farm's own label in the past. All the facilities are available to do so again, including the maturation cellar and wine barrels.
